Not so long ago, I never imagined that one of my favorite places to go shopping would be the grocery. It makes sense, given my abundant love for food. But ever since Trader Joe’s came into my life, going to the grocery is sometimes the highlight of my week. Every single time I go, I end up getting all sorts of delicious food I had no intention of getting upon walking in. That’s how good it is.
My love for Trader Joe’s turned even nerdier upon discovering the youtube video about it, and now I may have trumped even that by buying this cookbook:

As if cookbooks didn’t spark enough fantasizing, honestly, I’m practically drooling all over my keyboard just thinking about it.

My Italian professor’s name was Checca. I hope you’re pronouncing it correctly because it’s supposed to sound like, “CAKE?! uh…” more or less.
That is one delicious-sounding name. I was pronouncing it wrong, Gringot that I am.
I HAVE to find that cookbook. I love Trader Joes. In fact, part of the reason I moved in with the boyfriend instead of the other way around (besides him having the larger apartment) was because of the close proximity of the addictive store.
Right? I found it in the local section of Borders here. I love Trader Joe’s because I always find what I’m not looking for. And it [almost] always turns out to be a good thing. I say “almost” because I tried their frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and that was major ewwww.
Ooh, I need to find that cookbook too! There’s only one in Pittsburgh and its not very big, but I adore it.
I follow their blog as well. Let me know how their cookbook is.
They have a blog and a cookbook?
I freakin’ love trader joes too.
I have several of their reusable bags which I use for more than just groceries. The store oozes yummy smells, great (healthy!) food and quick meals. LOVE IT.
